On April 15th, 2010, Cranford Vanilla Bean Creamery was reopened under new ownership by Ralph Kopelman. After enrolling in the Ice Cream University in West Orange, NJ, Mr. Kopelman learned the techniques of making artisan ice cream, returning to the ice cream serving business for the first time since serving ice cream at his father's candy store in Richmond Hills, Queens as a teen.

Here at Cranford Vanilla Bean Creamery we take pride in our premium, hand-made ice cream and ice cream cakes, which are made on the premises seven days a week. Our dipping cabinets hold a selection of our 32 premium hard ice cream flavors. With a weekly flavor rotation, we love to experiment with different ingredients to ensure the greatest quality and taste, as well as a new variety for each visit. Some of our exotic ingredients include Madagascar vanilla, Belgian chocolate, and fresh fruit for an intense, high quality flavor. As the summer season arrives, Italian ices will be added to the mix of sorbets to cool off a hot day. We offer many options, including hard and soft ice cream, non-dairy sorbets and Italian ices, low-fat and non-fat frozen yogurt, and smoothies.

The Creamery embodies our love of creating premium ice cream in an enjoyable, family-friendly environment in ensuring customer satisfaction. We are very fortunate to have this opportunity to open a neighborhood ice cream parlor in the close-knit community of Cranford. We look forward to meeting you!
